We are continuing our series of posts containing excerpts from a conference, put on by the Presbytery of Ohio, where Eric Hausler taught on evangelism–particularly God’s sovereignty in our everyday encounters with people. You can view the first post here: Part 1
In the first post, Eric laid out how we are to view people. In this installment, he takes a quick run through the gospels to look at how Jesus viewed people. It’s a really helpful breakdown focused on this one point.
Questions for Thought or Discussion:
1) Does anything surprise you or hit you in a new way as Eric looks at Jesus encounter with 6-8 people in the gospels?
2) How would you summarize Eric’s take on how Jesus viewed people? What are 3 or 4 words that come to mind to summarize how Jesus viewed people? What one characteristic of Jesus most challenges you to imitate with people in your life? Which characteristic is most encouraging to be more intentional about?
