Being a “church that plants churches” sounds like a great desire to have, but can be challenging to implement. Being a “church plant that plants churches” may sound even more challenging. But what does this mentality look like in practice? The Presbytery of Ohio is doing some concerted work in this area. Brad Peppo has been heavily involved in that work and talks about it in this video.

1. Wherever your presbytery is—small and grinding or bigger and thriving—where are you on the scale of a strong church planting mentality? What does that look like beyond desire and thought? What does your presbytery do to facilitate/encourage?
2. “Churches planting churches” is used a lot, even in our circles….what does it actually look like practically? What does it cost—not just financially—but what does it cost in time and resources and leadership?
