We sat down with Brad Peppo, pastor of First Street Reformed Fellowship (OPC) in Dayton, OH, to talk about a wide range of topics related to outreach and evangelism. Topics in this series will include: evangelism of thoughtful atheists, outward focused churches, building relationships with unbelievers, serial church planting, and several others.
We look forward to sharing this interview with you. There is plenty to chew on for every Reformed Christian. We will be releasing the interview in smaller parts. Give Part 1 a watch and then a couple of questions to think about below:
Questions for Thought or Discussion:
1) What stands out about how Brad talks about church planting in the relatively small region of Ohio?
2) Is this kind of thinking present in churches and presbyteries? Why or why not? What are the advantages and the challenges to this type of thinking?
3) As an OPC member/attender, is this type of thinking about the church and church planting appealing to you? Why or why not? What impact would this approach have to church members and their mentality about the local church?
