What types of things encourage a church community to be more evangelistic over the long haul? Eric talks about building a culture of evangelism in the church and in the family. He shares a number of helpful stories and practical ideas to point a church and a family in a more “outward” direction. (Note: These are all stand alone videos, but if you’ve missed the earlier installments you can find them here: Hausler Series)
Questions for Thought or Discussion:
1) What ideas come to mind for your family to participate (as a family) in something evangelistic? Could you have a discussion as a family and see what ideas may develop?
2) If you are single, how could you initiate being part of a “community” effort to participate in an activity geared toward becoming more “outward” toward the lost? Would it be with other singles? Is their a family you know well enough to be a part of something they do? Is it possible to form a team at your church to do something?
3) What does your church currently do that helps people actively (not just thinking) participate in something that broadens their evangelistic horizon? What are 1 or 2 things you could add in the next year as opportunities?
